Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, the shoe also pays tribute to Gilbert Baker, designer of the rainbow flag, by putting his signature on the heel of the Max Air 720 midsole. ‘Be True’ appears on the heel pull-tab, with the insole detailing the original meaning of the flag.
