The Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘El Grito – Sail’ lauds Mexico’s cultural heritage, using a moniker alluding to the historic battle cry that sparked the Mexican War of Independence. These shoes have an off-white tumbled leather upper with midfoot perforations replacing the typical side netting. Embossed patterns inspired by Mexican architecture grace the toe, heel and tongue — the latter stamped with an embroidered burgundy Jumpman logo. An Air-sole heel unit encased within the foam midsole has red and green sharktooth details on the left and right shoe, respectively.
