Kirsten Brown designed the Air Max 97 GS ‘Doernbecher’ 2018 for grade school kids with vibrant components that reinvent the well-known Nike sneaker crafted by Christian Tresser over twenty years before. In 2016, Kirsten learned she had cardiomyopathy, a rare condition that inhibits the heart from pumping enough blood to the body. After a hospital stay, she suffered a stroke, then received a heart transplant. ‘SRVVR’ in bold pink print is her eternal homage to the power of positive thinking.
