Air Max Plus ‘Sunset’

Florida sunsets guided Nike designer Sean McDowell’s imagination when s he designed the Air Max Plus, hence this colorway’s name, ‘Sunsets.’ The black TPU overlays bring to mind the way palm trees sway in the wind, while the rest of the mesh paneling showcases a dazzling orange tone to mimic the color of the setting sun. The midsole shank also mirrors a whale’s tail breaching the ocean waves. The tooling itself integrates a number of Air Max cushioning units beneath the heel and midfoot for comfort and stability.
