With urban travel as the inspiration for this otherwise-classic high top, dreamlike map components are printed against the upper in white canvas. The tongue is printed with ‘. . . to walk is to read – to read is to walk’ on the left shoe and the city is an infrastructure of language …’ on the right. Underfoot, the sidewalls Chuck 70’s are known for are built on rubber outsoles in blue on the left, red on the right.
